Karen Sommers
Manager of Account Services, Higher Education
Karen has 16 years of direct response experience and has managed a wide array of direct marketing initiatives, including direct mail, print on demand, e-marketing, lead/data management and fulfillment. She applies her direct response expertise to guiding and supporting clients every step of the way as they work to achieve their marketing goals.
Karen joined the W.A. Wilde Company in 1993 as an Administrative Assistant to Sales and Marketing. She quickly stepped into the client services role and gained seven years of experience in the direct mail industry working with dozens of clients, in both college and commercial markets.
Karen then transferred to Robbins Associates in 2000. Since that time, she has been committed to AMM's college and university clients, managing all aspects of their student recruitment projects while focusing on quality and client satisfaction.
Karen is a 1997 Phi Theta Kappa high honors graduate of the Community College of Rhode Island, earning an Associate degree in Science Business Management. She is currently enrolled at Bridgewater State College seeking a Bachelor of Arts in Business/Marketing.
